WV, MD and PA Clubs
Rattlers competes through the Tri-State league with clubs from West Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania.
Rattlers/Tri-State and JJWA/Mason-Dixon are separate youth wrestling leagues. Wrestlers may participate in one or both.
The goal is simple: more quality mat time, more exposure, and more opportunities for wrestlers to compete against different clubs and styles.
Having two league options also gives families flexibility when one weekend works better than another. Both leagues have strengths, and wrestlers can benefit from experiencing both.
The larger league and often the longer competition day, but wrestlers may get several matches and see a wider variety of opponents and wrestling styles.
A smaller league with typically quicker events, while still providing valuable competition across West Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania — including clubs out toward Bedford.
There is no “better” league. The purpose of offering both is to create as many good wrestling opportunities, different opponents and quality matches as possible for each wrestler.
Rattlers competes through the Tri-State league with clubs from West Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania.
JJWA/Mason-Dixon includes clubs from Northern Virginia and West Virginia.
Keep the two schedules separate. An event in one league does not count toward the championship qualification requirement in the other league.
