Rattlers Accepted in Tri-State Youth Wrestling League

A new Youth Wrestling League has been formed after a Mid-Maryland and a PA league decided to not re-organize. Berkeley Braves organization started to get interest from some WV Panhandle teams, western MD and some PA teams.

Rattlers joined the league late and to begin in a probationary status. The Rattlers will travel to the host events this season, if the league is a good fit, we will enter again and get a weekend to host.

Tri-State Youth Wrestling League is very similar to the Mason-Dixon Wrestling League but on a smaller scale with different opponents. Many times in the MDWL you wrestle the same kid a few times in the season, so the Tri-State is an opportunity to find different match ups.

FAQ

Q: Can you do both JJWA/Mason-Dixon & Rattlers/Tri-State?
A: Yes, Tri-State begins December 14th and overlaps some events in the Mason-Dixon. You would miss a couple event for the MDWL but still have time to qualify for the MDWL Championship. (MDWL has not published their schedule.)

Q: Who can join the Rattlers for the Tri-State Youth Wrestling League?
A: Anyone who trains at Rattlers! (Elite/Advance/Beginner)

Q: How do you qualify for the Tri-State Championship?
A: You must attend 50% of league events, tournaments hosted by league teams is acceptable.
